I’ve tried them all, this is the keeper. I use it for a gallery of multiple genres and multiple artists. Killer features are: 1) Photos retain their filenames as on the Mac; 2) You can sort by multiple criteria including filename; 3) You can nest subfolders; 4) You can select a photo for the cover. Esthetics are important also, and this one looks quite nice with the black background option. Cut to the chase and buy the pro upgrade for data loading, it’s fast and accurate. Note, the app doesn’t back up to iTunes, so photos added originally in the app need to be archived separately. They offer a backup service, but it’s not in my use cases so no comment. I maintain everything on a laptop as the original source, but I can export anything to the laptop if I add it in the app, thus the value of filenames and metadata. My only quarrel is the passcode format – a 4-digit PIN would be a convenience, not a deal breaker but if fixed would rate a sixth star...

I forgot my password, how to change or reset it?there is nowhere I can change it.

It does not transfer files. Sends you to a site where youll need a password that they dont give you. No customer service. Shame on Apple for selling rip-offs!

This app is perfect! Works just as advertised and super convenient. I have a 6 yr old daughter and was always afraid that she was going to go through my personal pics. This app will hide your personal pics and you wont have to worry about your kids and anyone else coming across your personal pics ;)

Im thinking of buying the itunes transfer in app purchase, but im just wondering if the video format changes once I use it. My itouch 3 screwed me over through camera roll transfer.

In a regular iphone photo album...its hard to organize your piks!! This app helped me organize all my piks n put security to those i dont want to share!! :)

All my photos are gone and the app is doing somthing weird idk but u guys need to fix it and bring back all my photos

I love this app. All private videos & photos kept secure with password. Couldnt ask for anything better!!! Simply Hidden with no worries from family & all that borrow phone for entertainment purposes.

I wrote for help on the iPad version twice on things such as deleting photos from a folder, and changing the key photo for a folder. No response. The functionality of the app is poor and the support you will get for problems is none. Find another app. Im looking now.

Private photo lives up to all my expectations. Its easy to use. It keeps the photos I want private, safe & protected.

Ive had this app for the longest. I love it. Just wondering if there will be an update? Idk maybe support for iOS8. I dont remember the last time this app had an update. Make some changes or add something new. Js

Not easy to sync with iPad but its a great way to manage your pics

I lov it! I wanted to keep some photos private. And it did. Awesome thats all I needed.

How can I get my forgotten password? It keeps saying the answers the questions are wrong, and theyre not, so how do I get in now??

As a photo manager it works better then anything I have seen in the app store. However, the security on this app is horrificically incompetent. All the photos that are locked can be viewed an external editor like iFunBox even with the iPhone or iPad locked. Thats pathetically bad coding.

The best app Ive found for hiding my videos & photos! Its one of the VERY FEW APPS THAT PERFORMS EXACTLY WHAT IT PROMISES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP. The only reason I dont update it is because I dont want to ruin the perfectness of it!

Please add sub folder and air drop support, as well as the ability to arrange folders in detail format and I will raise the ranking to 5 stars. Keep up the good work.

It does everything it says, but the newest update doesnt allow you to play your videos you have saved

It needs fixed I lost my password and I cant access it . It needs a reset password

I purchased both photo manager and this app and it does not sync anything from iTunes. I wanted my music photos and videos synced into this app using a USB. I cant even seem to see whats in my iTunes.
